Don’t Spend Your Life Undoing Your Life
Posted by Charles Godfrey in Life Lessons on Mar 20, 2010
The other day an odd thought popped into my head. “Its harder to undo something than it is to do it.” At first I wasn’t even sure what I meant by that (and I was the one thinking it) but it eventually started to make sense. Think forest fires. Read the rest of this entry »

Posted by Charles Godfrey in Startups on Mar 12, 2010
Hi my name is Charles Godfrey and its been about 5 months since my last post. What the heck have I been doing you ask? Ok fine you didn’t ask, but lets just pretend you did. So we gave her the option: play now for “only a little bit” or play after shoe-shopping for “a longer time”. My 4 year old daughter paused for a minute, considered her options, asked me to confirm that she’d still get to play “today” either way, and then to my surprise decided to maximize her play time by shoe-shopping now. I was amazed and proud. Rarely do kids/young people delay instant gratification. This got me thinking of the decisions I’ve made over the last 10 years. Microsoft Office Is Stupid And Google Docs Had To Follow
Posted by Charles Godfrey in Just Too Logical, Software on Apr 5, 2009
