Kinda hard to believe that this is my own very first blog post given that, as a Developer, I’m on a computer 10+ hours a day. I plan to blog about my overly logical thoughts as well as my life as a 30-something techy, gadget lover, new father, entrepreneur and idealist, who plans to retire in May 2012 at the perfect age of 35.
In the meantime, here are just a few odd things about me (that I’ll hopefully write about in detail soon):
- I’m Hispanic (mixed really), can’t speak Spanish but can fully understand Farsi. You’d be surprise at the reactions/lectures I’ve gotten for this.
- Wrote a program to predict Powerball numbers. Obviously not done yet, but I’m closer than you think.
- Sometimes I go home after a hair cut and search frantically for a pair of scissors to get that one last piece the hair stylist missed. (lunatic? perfectionist? lunatist?)
- In the last month I’ve thought of not 1, not 2, but 3 great ideas for new startups.
- Absolutely can’t not be logical in anything I do. This is a very sharp, double-edged sword…and I’m running out of band-aids!
