The New Startup Company Anthem
I’ve been working on a new idea I have for a startup for a few weeks now and its getting rough. How many nights can one actually go to bed at 3am and wake up at 7am? How can one stay so focused and motivated ALL the time? If you are in the same boat, you’ve probably read lots of advice on other blogs about books to read, blogs to visit, tweeters to follow, success stories to marvel. Those are all great, but for me, its the small things that motivate me even more.
Right now, its the song “All of the Above” by Maino ft. T-Pain. It REALLY gets me syched up! The beat is wikid insane, but its the lyrics that really get me going. Whether you’re a blogger, entrepreneur or just trying to achieve a goal, I’m sure you’ll agree that you can relate to something in this song.
For bloggers putting themselves, their thoughts, their emotions out there. For someone like a, lay-it-all-on-the-line Jamie Varon over at Shatterboxx:

Or for the guy like me, trying to take a simple idea and working hard at it to become great:

Or for someone who has failed before but just keeps going. For someone like the super dedicated Jun Loayza over at Young Successful Entrepreneur:

This song brings out the fighter in me; the dreamer in me. We all have little things that motivate us each day to climb over that next hurdle. Inspiration can be found anywhere. Maybe its watching your kids play in the back yard, or that sweet smile your wife gave you across the dinner table letting you know “We’re in this together”, or just walking outside on a sunny day. Or maybe, if you’re like me, inspiration is found in an unlikely place……a rap song.
